1. Membership

A Chairperson appointed by the Board
President of the Academic Board (or nominee)
Vice-President the Academic Board (or nominee)
Chairperson of the Selection Procedures Committee
Director of the Centre for the Study of Higher Education (or nominee)
Vice-Principal and Academic Registrar (or nominee)
Five members from faculty selection committees nominated by Board Officers
A student member drawn from the student members of the Selection Procedures Committee
Up to two additional co-opted members

2. Terms of Reference

2.1 To provide advice to the Academic Board through the Selection Procedures Committee on the operation of access programs

2.2 To liaise with faculty and graduate school selection committees in their development of criteria for the identification and ranking of applicants to be selected into the components of access programs

2.3 To monitor the criteria and processes used by faculties to ensure the equitable selection of access applicants.

2.4 To report to the Academic Board through the Selection Procedures Committee on the operation and outcomes the programs including the performance of students admitted through access programs.

2.5 To report to the Academic Board through the Selection Procedures Committee and to advise the Access and Equity Committee on the operation of Regulation 11.1R3.5(5).
