Tsunami aid and support: overview

The University of Melbourne deeply feels its responsibility to respond generously to the plight of those affected by the tsunami which struck east and south-east Asia on 26 December 2004.

The University announced an immediate package of assistance for these communities, and set up a taskforce to coordinate longer-term rebuilding and aid activities.
