Compliance Forum Web site - "9 things you wished you had known earlier..."
The Compliance Forum series offers the University community a quick 'snapshot' over a range of different topics related to compliance. Topics covered, can include (but are not limited to) records management, copyright, audit, privacy etc. The Compliance Forums are now held quarterly and the topics covered will vary over the year. The idea is to get an overview about different compliance related issues and services, which may highlight areas that you need more information about. The forums provide plenty of avenues to chase up information that you may require more details on. The Compliance Forums also hope to provide you with some context. For example, non compliance with aspects of records management, may end up causing issues with an Internal Audit. It's good to sometimes see how various things relate and impact on one another.
The Compliance Forums do not intend to provide a comprehensive overview on any one topic or area. Rather its a starting point for more knowledge and information gathering further down the track. It is informationed based rather than instructional. These events are run by the Information Services, Information Management Advisory Service, but are done in co-operation with other areas across the University, including the University's Compliance Program.
