Malcolm Fraser was visiting Lusaka for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, 1-7 August 1979. At this meeting, delegates endorsed the Lusaka Declaration on Racism and Racial Prejudice, a statement of the Commonwealth's 'desire to rid the world of the evils of racism and racial prejudice'. |
