Information Strategy Workshops
Workshops were held in the week of April 11th 2005 to develop the University's Information Strategy. The Strategy provides a three year view of the University's priorities for using information and information and communication technologies (ICT) to advance the University's strategic aims.
Workshop attendees were drawn from across the University, representing teaching, learning, research, administration and the student experience.
There were five workshops, each focussed on a key area of strategic activity: ICT, Management, The Student Experience, Research and Research Training and Teaching and Learning. Participants developed a goal for each area, then strategies and targets underneath that goal. These strategies and targets will be incorporated into the University Information Strategy for consideration at Information Strategies Committee, Planning and Budget and Council during 2005.
