The Information Futures forum series, sponsored by Libraries Committee and the Vice-Principal (Information) aims to provide an overview of current issues, trends and developments in scholarly communication relevant to Universities and 'libraries' of today, and to stimulate debate and discussion which will inform the development of policies for the University around issues such as:
- institutional repositories and the open access publishing movement
- copyright and Creative Commons
- the rise of the ePrint and ePress
- digital preservation and access
- trends in serials publishing, and the responses of universities to these issues..
