1853-1866 The Collingwood Stockade

The first use of the Lee Street Primary School Site was as a stockade for locking up criminals. This section looks at the history of the Collingwood Stockade.

1866-1873 The Carlton Receiving-House for the Insane

The second use of the Lee Street Primary School Site was as an asylum for the insane. This section looks at the history of the Carlton Receiving-House for the Insane.

1873-Today Carlton North Primary School

The current use of site is for the Carlton North Primary School. This section traces the history of the school over more than a hundred years.
