Application to join an academic procession (Staff only)

To secure your place in the academic procession, please submit the form below by the RSVP date for the ceremony you wish to attend. Your application will be emailed to the Graduations Unit in Student Administration.

Late applications will not be accepted.

Academic regalia

If you do not need to borrow academic regalia, please assemble in The Quadrangle approximately 30 minutes prior to the advertised start of the ceremony.

If you need to borrow academic regalia, please report to the Robing Room, ground floor, The Quadrangle, at least 45 minutes prior to the advertised start of the ceremony.

Borrowed academic regalia must be returned to the Robing Room no later than 20 minutes after the conclusion of the ceremony.

The University's collection of academic regalia is largely Oxford-based. If you require academic regalia from another University and supplies are not available, the closest University of Melbourne equivalent will be provided.
