Early Retirement Options
Applications are closed for the enhanced retirement provisions under the ERP. Staff interested in early, pre and phased retirement options may still apply for these in accordance with standard University policy (Early Retirement Incentives and Pre-retirement Contracts: Section 5, UOM0106 and Phased Retirement Section 7, UOM0119). Information on the options remains here for interested staff, however under the standard policy, the additional $10,000 incentive is not payable and the requirement to end employment by 30 June 2011 is not imposed. If you are interested in applying in the future for one of the retirement options you should discuss this with your supervisor or manager. Further information can be obtained from your Local HR Team.

Fixed Term Contract Renewal Process
Following feedback, the University will not implement the proposed fixed-term contract review program at this time. We will, however, continue to consult with staff and their representatives on a process to review fixed-term contracts prior to their expiry. In the meantime, fixed term contracts which are approaching their end dates will continue to be renewed according to existing University policy.
