Design a postcard for Mental Health Week 2008!
Monday 6 October - Friday 10 October
Do you have ideas, thoughts, dreams or experiences you’d like to share
about mental wellbeing on campus?
Have you had experiences with mental
distress/mental illness?
Do you have
ideas for a more mentally healthy university?
The Mental Health Awareness and Development
(MHAD) is inviting students, staff and any other members of the University
community to share their ideas and experiences on a blank postcard. You
can be as creative (or not) as you want, but we ask that you be honest and
anonymous.
Selected postcards will be exhibited as part of mental
wellbeing awareness activities, beginning with Mental Health Week (6 - 10 October). Cards will be accepted until 31 October for exhibition in 2008.
Cards are currently available at:
- Graduate
Lounge at UMPA
- Counselling service
- Union House Information Desk
- MUOSS lounge (Second Floor, Union House).
Completed postcards can be returned to any of these locations, in the boxes provided. Alternatively, you can post postcards back to the Union House Information Desk.
This project is organised by Mental Health Awareness and Development
(MHAD), a newly formed group of mental health consumers on campus, funded
by a Dreamlarge grant to build a consumer presence on campus.
