Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)
Courses cannot be advertised or offered to international students without registration on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
CRICOS registration can only be sought after the course has been approved by University Council and a fee has been set for the course. Part-time courses cannot be offered to international students unless offered off-shore or by distance education. In these cases CRICOS registration is not required.
Notice that a new course has been approved by Council is sent directly to the Admissions Office by Central Secretariat for CRICOS registration to be obtained.
University web pages should display the University's CRICOS provider number and a link to the relevant section of the Student Services web site:
CRICOS Provider Number: 00116K
More information about student visas can be found at the student services site.
The CRICOS provider number is part of the University's standard web publishing templates.
