Planned to coincide with the 2007 Melbourne Wine and Food Festival, Tea: The Global Infusion draws from the local and wider community.  A range of Cultural Collections items are on display, along with art works created especially for the exhibition.  A number of aspects of this everyday pleasure are explored, including the history of tea, its social importance, medicinal uses, tea growing, tea trade and tea merchants.
