University Gathering following the Bushfires
To be held on Tuesday 3 March on the South Lawn.
Gathering from 12.45 for 1.00pm commencement.
The purpose of this service is to provide an opportunity for the whole university community to come together and acknowledge the emotional, human, environmental impact of the recent bushfires. This non-denominational gathering will also express the hope of new life arising from the ashes.
Various voices from various traditions will be heard and this service will incorporate local and international student voices. University Chaplain Wes Campbell will lead the service.

Greeting your neighbour – people are invited to greet those nearby, as a sign of community support and solidarity. Invitation to touch the ash - music to be played as people disperse. |
