Faculties, Graduate Schools and Administration
Implementation of the Melbourne Model imposes important new demands on the University's organisational structure which must now accommodate six undergraduate degrees to be managed on behalf of the University and a graduate school model of professional education.
Faculties responsible for teaching the new generation undergraduate degrees also teach major postgraduate programs, housed in a faculty-based Graduate School. Under the Melbourne Model there are also stand-alone Graduate Schools, responsible for their own research, knowledge transfer and postgraduate programs while teaching into some undergraduate programs.
