Mission
Provide an independent appraisal of the adequacy and application of internal controls, and assessments of the University's
operations and activities with a view to providing quality advice to assist management at all levels in achieving
objectives consistent with the University's strategic plan.
Values
The values adopted by Internal Audit are based on those of the Division of the Senior Vice-Principal. They are:
- honesty, integrity, professionalism and accountability in relationships with our customers and each other;
- freedom from all forms of discrimination;
- a climate of respect and openness in expressing views and taking decisions;
- enthusiasm, flexibility and innovation;
