In country support volunteers
Global Alumni Network
Our alumni live and work in more than 120 countries around the world. The University has a register of alumni who volunteer to support fellow alumni when they move to a new country or return to their country upon graduation. This is one of the most valuable services an alumnus can offer.
Support can be in the form of advice on logistics and living arrangements, establishing social and business connections, and professional mentoring. This support is usually short-term in nature and is appreciated sincerely by alumni.
Information for prospective students
Students considering study at the University often welcome the opportunity to talk to an alumnus about their experience at Melbourne. This is particularly valuable for international students who, in addition to advice on courses and career outcomes, wish to understand what it is like to live in Melbourne and Australia.
