Special announcement - New Benefits for Alumni
In response to your requests in the Alumni Preferences Survey, the Alumni Relations team has recently launched an exciting range of new alumni benefits, to complement the existing opportunities and offers for alumni.
New benefits include:
1) Alumni access to online journals
3) Special alumni discount on award-winning boutique wine
4)Your chance to attend or host events at world class architectural premises
Alumni can now access online journals
AS alumni, you've told us it would be helpful if you could remotely access the library’s online journals. And now you can. Whether you wish to research information for your current job, your role in the community or simply out of personal interest, we have launched a carefully-selected range of our most in-demand electronic databases for you to access. By paying a fee of $45, University of Melbourne alumni can access these journals for 12 months from the date of payment. Alumni are invited to take up this new benefit by December 2009. After this time, the service will be reviewed to ensure it continues to meet alumni needs.
To find out more about this service, visit www.lib.unimelb.edu.au/alumni. To view a list of the library databases available for access, please visit www.lib.unimelb.edu.au/alumni/databases.html.
