The Chancellor's Circle

The Chancellor’s Circle is the name given to our community of generous benefactors who demonstrate leadership and commitment to the University of Melbourne through annual gifts of $1,000 per year or greater.

Membership in the Chancellor’s Circle is 12 months, or until the gift is renewed.

Chancellor’s Circle donors will be invited on occasion to special events to interact with the University leadership, academic staff, students, and fellow Chancellor’s Circle donors in recognition of the University’s gratitude for their level of support.

Chancellor's Circle Levels of Annual Support

  • $1,000 – $2,499 Chancellor’s Supporters
  • $2,500 – $4,999 Chancellor’s Associates
  • $5,000 – $9,999 Chancellor’s Fellows
  • $10,000 – $24,999 Chancellor’s Benefactors
  • $25,000 – $49,999 Chancellor’s Principals
  • $50,000+ Redmond Barry Circle

  • $500+ Chancellor’s Circle G.O.L.D. (available only to graduates of the last decade)

The second Chancellor’s Circle reception for 2007 was held at the Bio21 Institute.

More than 140 Chancellor’s Circle members, university staff and students attended the event.

Chancellor’s Circle Reception - 29 March 2007

The first Chancellor’s Circle reception for 2007 was held in the Yasuko Hiraoka Myer Room at the Sidney Myer Asia Centre.

More than 160 Chancellor’s Circle members, university staff and students attended the lively event.
