Conversation at Masani - 2009 Series
Alumni are invited to join us for a Conversation at Masani in 2009. This series has been organised to provide alumni with the opportunity to take part in an intimate, challenging and thought-provoking conversation with a fellow alumnus.
The Conversations will take part in the elegant surrounds of one of Melbourne's finest Italian restaurants, Masani.
- Elegant, relaxed and intimate atmosphere
- Thought provoking, challenging and open conversations
- Interesting and inspiring guest speakers
- Superb wines and delicious Italian antipasti
Due to sell-out success of the 2008 series, we have organised 10 conversations in 2009. Places are limited, and alumni are encouraged to reserve their place early to avoid disappointment. Priority will be given to alumni from the same faculty as the speaker, and to those alumni who have not yet had the opportunity to attend a Conversation.

A Conversation at Masani with Richard Woolcott AC
On Thursday 1 November 2007 a reception was held at Masani Restaurant in Carlton to thank alumni who had participated in reference groups during the year.
Eminent alumnus Richard Woolcott AC spoke about his fascinating career as an ambassador, High Commissioner and Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs, and his recently-published reminiscences, Undiplomatic Activities.
The Conversation was enjoyed over a glass of fine wine and some delicious Italian treats. A series of these Conversations at Masani is planned for alumni for 2008. These will be publicised in GradNet and the Alumni Events Calendar.
