University Alumnus in the Running for Man Booker Prize
ONE of the most dividing novels of recent years, The Slap, has been nominated for the prestigious Man Booker Prize for Fiction. Author Christos Tsiolkas (BA 1987) provides a confronting, frank account of the suburban middle class, through eight individuals' responses to seeing a child slapped at a suburban barbecue.
