Alumni stay in touch with the big (political) picture

Michelle GrattanInterstate alumni renewed connections with the University and each other at recent receptions held in Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney. You can now view photographs from all three events.

You can also read the speech given at the Canberra reception by our distinguished alumni speaker, Michelle Grattan, political editor of The Age. Alumni and guests enjoyed this fascinating insight into the coming federal election.

Alumni will have another opportunity to hear an expert analysis of Australia's political future at a special oration by Vice-Chancellor Glyn Davis, followed by a drinks reception, on Wednesday 19 September. more >>

Self-described 'lifelong learner' Denise Hall was one of the first students to study Training and Development at the University of Melbourne. She went on to build a career as a training and development consultant, working on projects around Australia and overseas.

Denise's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish her own business as a talent agent for consultants in her field of expertise. She has also begun to share her experiences as a mother and businesswoman through her contributions to an online community and to a recent book. more >>
