University alumna Randa Abdel-Fattah recently won the Alfred Deakin Prize for an Essay Advancing Public Debate for her essay Living in a Material World at the 2005 Premier's Literary Awards, while five other University alumni were recognised by the Australia Council for their writing and poetry. more >>

Your gift at work: the 2005 University Fund Appeal

To date, the 2005 University Fund Appeal has raised over $150,000 in support from friends and alumni. This year, the University's key priority for the Fund is supporting student scholarships. Some scholarships attract the best and brightest to Melbourne, while others open precious doors of access to individuals who couldn't otherwise afford to attend Australia's leading University.
