Up to one year after graduation, alumni can continue to use
Careers
& Employment's full range of services, which includes
careers counselling, resumé reviews, seminar programs,
careers information and employment opportunities.
After a year, Alumni continue to have access a range of useful
services, including up-to-date career information and employment
opportunities via Careers Online, Careers & Employment's
comprehensive website, weekly email bulletins and access to
the Careers Resource Centre.

Previously Raul Estevez enjoyed a successful
career in hospitality. From working as a front-of-house
manager, to opening several international hotels, his
energy was the envy of many of his colleagues. Now,
Raul has thrown himself headlong into a teaching career
that has already taken him from Canada to Chile, and

1981, Vi Le Peterson was offered a graduate management
trainee position with the Australian and New Zealand
Banking Group Limited (ANZ Bank). 23 years later, Vi
is based in Bangkok, Thailand, where she and her husband
run a US-based foundation, The Alliance for Safe Children

UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE MEDICAL SOCIETY (UMMS)
Graduates of the School of Medicine can keep in touch with
fellow alumni, the school and the university through the University
of Melbourne Medical Society (UMMS). The society's annual
journal, Chiron, was published in June and includes
articles from staff and students about current research and
programs in the School of Medicine, reunions, obituaries,
medical history and much more. Members also receive a biannual
newsletter, Melbourne PostCard, and information about
reunions of their year group. Membership is free and renewable
