Students Thinking Pink for Very Special Kids

A group of students from the University of Melbourne’s Student Ambassador Leadership Program (SALP) has developed a project called Operation: Think Pink to help raise funds for charitable organisation Very Special Kids.

The University’s SALP provides students with an opportunity to work voluntarily for a non-profit organisation, or create their own projects to address the needs of a particular community group. The aim of the program is to develop students’ leadership and team skills, and includes other activities such as public speaking, facilitating host and discussion groups, and liaising with University staff and students. more
