The Sydney Alumni Association welcomes all University of Melbourne alumni in Sydney to attend the following event:
Mongolian Dinner in Chatswood

Brighten the winter blues with this exciting Mongolian dinner in Chatswood. Our committee man Peter Sloane is the honorary Australian Consul-General to Mongolia. Peter is an Agricultural Science graduate who made many so many advisory trips to Mongolia that he was asked to represent the country nine years ago.
Peter has organised a Mongolian BBQ, which will cost $45 per person. You will enjoy genuine Mongolian Buutz entree, unlimited serves of Mongolian BBQ, a lychee and icecream dessert and two glasses of wine. A cash bar is also available.

This occasion provides an opportunity to meet informally with other alumni in relaxed surroundings, and to find out about our activities. The format will be similar to other years, with a very short meeting and the election of the 2008 committee. Please consider joining the committee or volunteering to help at functions during the year.
To cover costs the charge is $10 per person (payable at door) and we ask that you also bring a plate of finger food, or a bottle of wine or soft drink. The Centre is a short walk from Milsons Point station and there is reasonable street parking.

The Archibald, the nation's favourite and most prestigious prize for portraiture, is always a source of entertainment and controversy.
Our Vice-President, Dr Chiaki Ajioka, has kindly arranged a private
viewing of this wonderful exhibition with a gallery guide,
to be followed by morning tea. The charge will be $20 per person.
