Appointment
| 1 | On the recommendation of the vice-chancellor, Council may appoint one or more deputy vice-chancellors for such period and on such conditions as Council determines. |
Duties and powers
| 2 | Subject to the Act and the statutes, a deputy vice-chancellor by virtue of the office may attend and speak at any meeting of Council and of any Council committee when requested to do so by the vice-chancellor, and has such duties and powers as are conferred upon or delegated to the deputy vice-chancellor by Council or by the vice-chancellor. |
