Regulation 2.1.R2 - Release of Voting Figures

  1. Subject to sub-section (2), neither the returning officer nor any person assisting the returning officer shall in any way whatever directly or indirectly divulge or disclose or aid in divulging or disclosing for what candidate or in what manner any voter has voted
  2. The returning officer may release to candidates, on request, the following `information from polls for positions on and within Council-
    1. the number of primary votes cast for each candidate; and
    2. the final voting results at the declaration of the poll.
