Subject Description | This subject involves a practical study of photographic composition, image manipulation and an introduction to digital printing and more advanced darkroom techniques. Topics will include portraiture, studio lighting, basic colour theory, image manipulation, macro photography and health and safety in the darkroom. Analogue and digital techniques may be used. Photographic images will be analysed with reference to historical context, genre, social and cultural context and technique. |
