Subject Description | This subject involves an introduction to basic conventions and practice in time based media production. Students will be exposed to production processes in sound and moving image, and will develop an understanding of the visual and aural language of the media and the relationship between style and content. |

Assessment | Written work totalling 4000 words comprising an individual mixed media production project of 3 minutes maximum duration OR individual contribution to a group production equal to 2 minutes 40% (due at the end of semester), a production outline 10% (due mid-semester) and two minor production assignments 25% each (due late semester). A hurdle requirement of a minimum 80% attendance required. |
