Subject Description | An examination of the inherent advantages and limitations of writing for the screen. Classes incorporate lectures, group discussions and film screenings. Students undertake short screenwriting exercise for presentation at the group discussion sessions. Students also undertake the writing of scripts for exercises. Scriptwriting progress is monitored at tutorials. |
Assessment | 4 x screenwriting exercises (ranging from 50 to 400 words)(50%); final draft script for a video production 3 to 8 minutes (50%) |
