Subject Description

The Big Band explores contemporary repertoire for the traditional big band, of which the instrumentation can be expanded according to works chosen. It rehearses and prepares programs, conducted and unconducted, suitable for public performance or recording.

Assessment

Continuous: Preparation and commitment as demonstrated by performance tasks and/or a regulary updated journal of actitivities embracing all areas studied (50%) - Hurdle requirement 80% attendance.

Formal: One performance or recording (50%).
