Subject Description

This subject involves a period of attachment (secondment) by the student to a theatre company, film company, dance company or other sutiable organisation or oprofessional practitioner. The finding of an appropriate secondment is the responsibility of the student involved and is subject to the approval of the Head of School. The student is expected to write a report (2,000 words) reflecting on their experience in the secondment.

The subject provides the student with an opportunity to test and develop the skills learnt over the past two years within a professional environment. It also provides a valuable opportunity to become part of the professional network for which they have been training.

Assessment

Secondment supervisor/s report/s (70%); secondment report (2,000 words) (30%).
