Subject Description | This subject extends studio studies and professional practice from Drawing Studies 5, and serves as a further introduction to the Honours year. Students are required to continue developing their individual investigation commenced in the previous semester. The students' progress in the open studio situation is assisted by attending third year seminars and regular tutorials with lecturers. Comprehensive, independent, professional practice is expected. Presenting work in the public arena and in the art school environment provides an understanding of exhibition preparation and its related issues. This is reinforced by student participation at all stages of the exhibiting process and in other professional art experiences offered as part of Drawing Studies 6. |
