Subject Description | In this subject students further develop their creative involvement with the printmaking medium/media of their choice. Greater emphasis is given to creative independence, self motivation and individual research for studio work. There is more emphasis on the tutorial program (individual and group) and its relation to the practical and conceptual outcomes of students work. Group and individual work tasks are set where necessary to develop skills in specific printmaking procedures, and to enable students to further develop their creative and conceptual relationship with printmaking. As part of the studio subject, students are required to participate in drawing classes and related drawing activities. |
