Subject Description | Students will gain first-hand experience of work relevant to a career in music through a supervised program of work experience with an approved music organization or industry. On completion of this subject students will be able to · plan tasks and use time efficiently in a work environment · participate effectively as a team-member in a professional situation in the music world · confront unfamiliar work problems with ability and self confidence; apply their musical skills and knowledge to specific professional music environments. |
Assessment | A report of 2000 words, due at the end of semester (60%); a work placement diary of 1500 words due mid and end of semester (30%); supervisor's report (10%). |
