One 1-hour seminar per week. Students will need to work on their projects in the student lab for 2-3 hours per week

Subject Description

Suited to students with some prior experience of music technology. Students will develop skills in the applications of computers for composition and music production, using technologies such as MIDI, sampling (digital audio), software synthesis and QuickTime. Includes a broad study of historical developments in the technology and practice of electronic music.

Assessment

Assigned projects in sequencing and multimedia (75%); short answer test (25%).
