740-191 Minor Practical Study 1-1

Contact	Thirty-minute individual weekly lesson; attendance at concert class or instrument class unless exemption is granted by the Dean
Subject Description	Students should have progressed at a level appropriate to their ability in the techniques and repertoire of the instrument concerned. On completion of the subject, students should be able to • present a short technical examination • display a level of instrumental or vocal craft appropriate to the level of the repertoire presented.
Assessment	A 10-minute end-of-semester examination program of technical work and one study from which the examiners will choose 5-10 minutes (50%); teacher's report and mark (50%). Students must pass both components to pass the subject.
