Subject Description

Topics include vitiating factors in contract (misrepresentation, misleading conduct, mistake, duress, undue influence, third party impropriety, unconscionable dealing, unconscionable conduct under statute, illegality); termination of contracts (for breach, for non-fulfilment of a condition, by agreement, by frustration); remedies for breach of contract (damages, specific performance, injunctions).

Assessment

Assignment 2500 words (50%) and final examination two hours (50%) OR final examination two hours (100%).
