Subject Description | Topics include the nature of contractual obligation; the place of contract within private law; contract theory and critique; formation (agreement, consideration, intention to create legal relations, certainty, formalities); estoppel; privity; the content of a contract (express terms, implied terms, construction of terms, the use of extrinsic evidence). |
