Subject Description	The subject examines the property valuation and investment environment with particular emphasis on the application of quantitative methods and the analysis of real property. Topics covered include review of discounted cash flow, property finance and financial analysis, after tax property analysis, specialised properties, the property as a business, property securitization and property market sectors. At the conclusion of this subject, students should be able to: model property valuation and investment financial flows undertstand the principles and techniques of property and asset valuation and analysis understand the effects of taxation and finance on property investment and development.
Assessment	One three hour examination (70%). Assignments totalling 2000 words (30%).
