Subject Description | Students will have opportunities to construct deep and rich understandings of a select number of big ideas in science. Students will construct new understandings of what it means to learn and do science through collaborative and individual activities that require them to position themselves both as learners of science concepts and practices and as future teachers of primary science. These inquiry-based experiences will allow students to engage with important concepts and skills like human anatomy and physiology, genetic inheritance, properties of matter and designing and executing scientific investigations. |
Assessment | One written assignment of 1,500 words and one written final project of 2,500 words. |
