Subject Description	This subject offers an investigation into and application of selected theories related to literacy practices in the classroom. Topics include reading and writing as social practice; an analysis of different text types; engaging with meaning as a reader and writer; literacy pedagogy; and critical literacy.
Assessment	Assignments totalling 4000 words (100%).
