Subject Description | A study of concepts and practices in modern language teaching and learning, with emphasis on developing teachers as reflective practitioners, capable of fostering in their students communicative competence in a new language and culture, and of making the experience of language learning an educational one. Students will be introduced to commonly used texts and materials and will be taught a range of techniques for employing them. |
Assessment | Assignments totalling 4000 words or equivalent. |
