Subject Description

This subject introduces key concepts in organisational learning including: structuring for optimal learning, philosophical approaches, leadership, empowerment, mechanisms for creating and capturing knowledge, knowledge transfer, systems thinking, resourcing learning, simulations, data warehousing and change theories. The nature of data, information and knowledge exchanges in business processes and the implications for organisational learning.

Assessment

Assignments totalling 4000 words or equivalent.

Prescribed Texts

A collection of appropriate readings will be prepared for students.
