Subject Description	Social and political contexts of schooling. Topics include: teacher professionalism; professional and personal teacher identity; legal aspects of teaching; exploration of issues in the media relating to education; and nurturing and articulating professionalism.
Assessment	Assignments totalling 4000 words, or equivalent.
