Subject Description | This subject investigates competency assessment strategies that can be applied in both the workplace and professional educational contexts. The subject explores the key components of a competency-based assessment model including purposes, evidence requirements, interpretation frameworks (eg criterion and normative referencing), decision-making rules, as well as recording and reporting frameworks. Furthermore, quality assurance procedures for enhancing the validity and reliability of assessment outcomes are explored at both the task development level and implementation. |
