Subject Description | This subject has been designed for students who wish to experience and gain an understanding of teaching and learning in a different educational context. The subject enables international students to develop their understanding of a Victorian school and curriculum by undertaking supervised teaching practice in a school or educational setting. An induction program of up to five days is offered before the practice. This program involves observation visits to an early childhood centre and local primary and secondary schools; and collaborative group work covering school and classroom culture, Victorian curriculum, learning contexts and preparation for the teaching practice. |
Assessment | Fifteen days of satisfactory supervised school experience. |
