Subject Description | The objective of this subject is to develop an appreciation of the diverse variety of geomatics-related science and technology as applied to current engineering practices. Topics covered include coordinate systems and maps; satellite navigation and positioning systems; land titles, land acquisition and subdivision; hydrographic surveying; geographic information systems; environmental visualisation; photogrammetry; and high precision industrial measurement. |
