Subject Description

Upon completion, students should be able to understand and apply theories and techniques which are at the forefront of fluid mechanics research.

Topics include critical point theory, flow pattern topology; vortex dynamics; and theories of turbulence.

Assessment

One 3-hour examination (100%) at the end of semester.
