Subject Description | Students will undertake a short investigative project in biochemical engineering, either individually or as members of a team. The project may entail a critical literature review or, more usually, an experimental project with one of the department's research groups. Students undertaking the project will develop their investigative and research skills as well as their skills in report writing. |
Assessment | One written report of up to 2000 words (not including appendices, diagrams, tables, computations and computer output) due at the end of semester; to pass the subject, the project work on which the report is based must be of a satisfactory standard. |
